The question that costs money to answer badly

Every commercial decision begins with a question. Who is already selling to the customers you want. What the demand in your area actually looks like. Whether the market you are counting on is really there, and what it would take to reach it. Businesses rarely lose money because they answered these questions wrongly. They lose it because the questions were never answered at all, and the truth arrived after the money had been spent.

I answer them properly, in writing, before you commit. I work with businesses based in the United Kingdom and with businesses based in Hungary, and most projects stay inside one market, whichever market that is. When a question does cross the border between them, or reaches further into the European Union, the same person answers it in both languages instead of passing it to somebody else.

Why work with Ignix Research

Evidence you can defend

Every finding is sourced and traceable. You can see where a figure came from, check it yourself, and put it in front of your board, your bank or a partner without hesitation.

One researcher, start to finish

The person who takes your brief is the person who carries out the research and presents it to you. Nothing is passed to a junior researcher and nothing is lost between the brief and the delivery.

Local research, cross border reach

Most projects sit inside the United Kingdom market. When yours reaches into the European Union or Hungary, native Hungarian and professional English mean the research carries on instead of stopping at the language.

Scope and price agreed first

After your brief and a conversation about it, you receive the scope, the price and the delivery date in writing. Nothing begins until you approve it, and nothing is added to the invoice afterwards.

In a client's words

It reflects who I am and the work I do, aptly and coherently. My page has a precise and thorough presence.

The founder

I studied business and marketing in Hungary from 2016, which is where my understanding of that market comes from. In 2020 I relocated to the United Kingdom, and in 2022 I started my first business here. I am now completing a BA (Hons) in International Business at the University of Liverpool.

I also spent a six month exchange semester at Monash University in Melbourne, studying the same International Business degree I am completing in Liverpool. My modules there included international trade law, the Chinese economy and business ethics, and alongside them I carried out business research in the Australian market. Three markets, three sets of rules, two languages. That is the ground I work on, and it is why a question that starts in Liverpool and ends in Budapest does not need two different researchers.

Who I work with

Primarily small and medium businesses based in the United Kingdom, who need a clear and evidenced answer to a specific commercial question before they commit time or money to a decision. Typical clients are preparing to grow, weighing up a new location or market, assessing a competitor or a possible partner, or testing whether the demand they assume exists is really there.

If your question needs a regulated professional, a solicitor, an accountant or a financial adviser, I will say so at the start and, where I can, point you toward the right specialist. Hearing that early costs you nothing. Finding it out late can cost a great deal.

Start with an initial brief

Download the research brief, fill it in and send it back. It takes about six minutes, and it is the fastest way to find out whether I can help and what it would involve.

Services

How the work runs

Five steps, no surprises. You know the scope, the price and the delivery date before anything begins.

The process

  1. Send your brief

, fill it in and email it to izabella@ignixresearch.com. It takes about six minutes. Every enquiry receives a personal reply within three working days.

  2. A free 30 minute call

No charge and no obligation. I use it to understand your situation, establish what research can realistically tell you, and say honestly if research is not what you need.

  3. Your scope, price and delivery date in writing

Prices are set after the brief and the call, once the question is clear, so you are never quoted for work you did not ask for. You then receive a written proposal: exactly what will be researched, what it costs and the date it arrives. Nothing begins until you approve it. There are no hidden fees and nothing is added to the invoice later.

  4. Your findings, delivered on time

A written report in your selected language, structured so that you can act on it immediately or pass it straight to your board, your bank or your partner.

  5. A conversation about what it means

I walk you through the findings and answer your questions, so the research is understood and used rather than filed away. This is also the point where I ask how you found the work. Your feedback shapes what I do next, and it is always genuinely appreciated.

What I do not do

Ignix Research delivers research and analysis. I do not provide legal, tax, immigration, financial or investment advice, and my reports must not be relied upon as such. Where your question requires a regulated adviser, I will tell you at the start rather than after you have paid for the wrong thing.

Saying so is only half the job. The other half is knowing who to send you to, which is why I am building a small referral network of qualified professionals I would be comfortable recommending by name.

An invitation to qualified professionals

If you are a solicitor, accountant, tax or immigration adviser, insurance broker, or another regulated or certified specialist, and you would like to be considered for that network, write to izabella@ignixresearch.com with your qualifications, your professional body and the work you take on. A referral carries my name alongside yours, so the list stays small and every person on it is someone whose work I would stand behind.

Not sure which one fits

Most clients are not, at the start. Describe the question in the brief, in two sentences if that is all you have, and you will get an honest answer about what it would take.

Portfolio

Selected work

I have worked in business since 2016, first in Hungary and, since 2020, in the United Kingdom, where I started my first business in 2022. Ignix Research operates from Liverpool and has been registered with HM Revenue and Customs since 2025.

Client identities are protected. References and redacted extracts from previous reports are available privately once a project is under discussion.

Market entry programme

A European business services company establishing itself in the United Kingdom

A four month engagement supporting a European company entering the British market. The work covered monthly market research, a networking and partnership strategy, stakeholder mapping across British business bodies and event organisers, a review of the legal and tax landscape facing an overseas registered company, a virtual office feasibility assessment, and a competitor map of comparable providers across the Liverpool region.

Each month the strategy was reviewed against live response data from the market and adjusted, so that the client's time and budget followed the channels that were actually producing contact.

Izabella supported me with market research, competitor and industry analysis, and a clearer understanding of the opportunities available in the UK market. She was thorough, reliable and proactive, and always willing to take the initiative when local market insight was needed. I would be happy to recommend her to businesses looking for market research, market entry or representation in the United Kingdom.

Sector and market sizing

Market sizing report, Liverpool City Region

A market report sizing the United Kingdom marketing services sector within its global growth context, and mapping the key industries of the Liverpool City Region: maritime and logistics, health and life sciences, creative and digital, advanced manufacturing, and tourism and hospitality. The report included sector level statistics used to establish which industries a new entrant should approach first, and in what order.

Bilingual portfolio and pricing structure

An independent artist in West Lancashire

A three page bilingual portfolio in English and Hungarian, built so that the same file produces a clean document for gallery submissions. The project included a pricing structure based on objective criteria rather than negotiation, and a route to recurring income alongside one off sales.
